AhlulBayt News Agency: Ayatollah Seyed Hassan Mousavi, in a speech, strongly criticized the wave of rumor-making by Zionist media against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei (may God protect him), describing it as a clear example of "organized intellectual and media aggression." He emphasized that attacking the leader of the Islamic Revolution is, in fact, an attack on resistance, Islamic dignity, and the hopes of the oppressed around the world."
Hojatoleslam Seyed Hassan Mousavi, the President of the Legal Shia Association in Jammu and Kashmir, referring to the role of Zionist media in spreading false claims, stated,” Zionist media, relying on fabricated and false writings of a Zionist writer, have systematically engaged in character assassination of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the great leader of the Islamic world, the hope of the oppressed worldwide, and the intellectual pillar of the global resistance front. This action is a clear instance of intellectual violence and media aggression.”
The departure of media from professionalism and becoming tools of global arrogance
He further emphasized that there is no room for optimism left, as a significant portion of mainstream media has exited the framework of journalistic professionalism and has essentially become tools of global arrogance, Zionism, and dominant powers. Attacking Ayatollah Khamenei is, in reality, an attack on the discourse of resistance, Islamic dignity, the awakening of the ummah, and standing against oppression and tyranny.
Distortion of Iran's realities and the gap between media narratives and field truths
This distinguished Kashmiri scholar, referring to concrete examples of this propaganda operation, touched upon the false narratives of Western-oriented media about Iran. He stated,” These media outlets present an exaggerated and misleading picture of insecurity and widespread instability in Iran, while direct communication with residents of various cities and examining field realities contradict these claims.”
“Daily life in most parts of the country continues as usual, and if any disturbance is observed, it is limited and temporary. This apparent difference highlights the deep gap between the objective reality and media portrayal.” He said.
Media silence in the face of the suffering of nations and the suppression of voices of truth-tellers
He added,” In a time when nations are facing issues such as inflation, political repression, injustice, and widespread violation of fundamental rights, global media maintain a meaningful silence. Conversely, the suppression of independent voices and the imposition of narratives aligned with the interests of dominant powers has become a permanent practice of these media outlets.”
Gaza; The World's Great Media Ethics Test
The Chairman of the Shia Legal Association in Jammu and Kashmir, strongly condemning the genocide of the Zionist regime in Gaza, and stated,” The lifeless bodies of children, the wails of mothers, and the destruction of hospitals are an obvious indictment against the conscience of humanity. However, media, pretending to be neutral between the oppressor and the oppressed, in fact, give legitimacy to criminals and criminalize the voice of the oppressed Palestinians.”
The Leader of the Revolution; The Symbol of the Path of Justice, Freedom, and Resistance
He further clarified that the path and thought of Hojatoleslam Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is a human and global path that is based on justice, freedom, dignity, and resistance against oppression. “Media attacks against Him are in fact a failed attempt to weaken an idea that gives hope to the oppressed and keeps alive the courage to stand up against oppressive regimes.” He added.
Finally, The Battle Between Truth and Lies
Hojatoleslam Seyed Hassan Mousavi, in conclusion, emphasized,” History testifies that truth may be hidden for a while, but it will never disappear. In this battle of words between right and wrong, ultimately, it is the right that will emerge victorious and triumphant from the field.”
